Welcome to Bloomington Fire Department

     The Bloomington Fire Department was Incorporated in 1941 and is a volunteer organization which proudly protects the residents and properties in parts of the Town's of Rosendale and Ulster located in Ulster County, New York. The area protected by the Bloomington Fire District is bordered by the following fire departments: The City of Kingston Fire Department to the North, St. Remy and Rifton Fire Departments to the East, Rosendale Fire Department to the South and Cottekill, Marbletown, Hurley and Spring Lake Fire Departments to the West.

     The Bloomington Fire Department maintains two stations in the district. The main station is located at 14 Taylor St., Bloomington and currently houses one engine, one pumper tanker, one heavy rescue, one light rescue, one rescue boat and one 5 person transport vehicle. Our second station is located on Sawdust Ave., Binnewater and currently has one engine, one mini pumper and two rescue boats.
